Special Seminar - Friday morning, December 15, in Burlington.

Brent Filson will lead a discussion on motivating people to achieve more results faster continually.

I've known Brent for several years and admire his books, articles and speeches on leadership. Brent brings many years of experience in leadership development at GE where he worked with Jack Welch and at many other companies and organizations. Brent focuses on one of the most fundamental and powerful aspects of leadership: the leadership talk. This is not a speech. It is a way of communicating effectively and consistently your major ideas in all types of settings to produce the results you desire.

You will leave this seminar prepared to develop and use your leadership talk.

Brent publishes a monthly e-zine, "Brent Filson's Action Leadership Report." I have forwarded copies of this to you several times in the past. You can access the past and present issues at
www.actionleadership.com/ezine. I recommend them.

I will provide copies of two of Brent's books to you at the seminar: The Leadership Talk: The Greatest Leadership Tool, and, 101 Ways to Give Great Leadership Talks.

Please confirm your plans to attend this All Member Seminar.

Brent first learned about leadership as a Marine Corps rifle platoon commander 23 years ago. Today, he is the founder and president of The Filson Leadership Group, Inc., which helps businesses, governments and non-profit organizations worldwide generate and achieve "more results faster, continually" through the methodologies he developed while working as a speechwriter, trainer and consultant.

He has helped thousands of leaders and scores of organizations including Abbott; Ameritech; Anheuser-Busch; AT&T; Bell Atlantic; BellSouth; Bristol-Meyers Squibb; DuPont; Ford; General Electric; General Motors; GTE; Hershey Foods; Houghton Mifflin; IBM, Merck; Miller Brewing Company; Price Waterhouse; Sears Roebuck; Spalding International; Unilever; UPS; Union Carbide; U.S. Steel; Warner Lambert; and more.

He has also lectured at Columbia University, MIT's Sloan School Of Business, Boston College, Wake Forest University, Williams College and Villanova among others.

A graduate of Wake Forest, Brent is the author of 23 books and more than 100 articles on leadership. His Executive Speeches: 51 CEOs Tell You How to Do Yours has been called "a classic" by "Public Relations Journal". His latest book, The Leadership Talk: The Great Leadership Tool, is a finalist in the careers category of a national book award.
